Legacy Planning

Pass on what you have built, not a tax bill.

Estate planning is where taxes, family, and intention meet. We coordinate the wealth transfer so your estate is treated exactly as you intend, with the tax handled thoughtfully.

Overview

Why this matters.

A legacy left without planning can lose a meaningful share to taxes and confusion. Beneficiary forms go stale, accounts get stranded, and heirs inherit a tangle instead of a plan.

We coordinate the financial side of your estate with your attorney: titling, beneficiaries, and wealth-transfer strategy, all designed to move what you have built to the people and causes you care about with as little friction and tax as possible.

We do not draft wills or trusts — those are prepared by your licensed estate attorney. Our role is to make sure the financial accounts, beneficiary designations, and titling actually line up with the documents, so the plan on paper and the plan in your accounts tell the same story.

Common questions

Good to know.

Still wondering about something? Send us a noteand we’ll answer plainly.

No. Estate documents are drafted by your licensed attorney. We coordinate the financial side — beneficiaries, titling, and wealth-transfer strategy — so your accounts match those documents.

Retirement accounts and insurance policies pass by beneficiary designation, not by your will. Stale designations are one of the most common ways an estate ends up going somewhere the person never intended.

Yes. We work with you and your attorney on giving strategies that support the causes you care about while managing taxes — coordinated with the rest of your plan.
